Dermal Fillers treatment side effects

Common side effects of dermal fillers include bruising and mild local discomfort after the procedure. Rarely, allergic reactions have also been reported, depending on the filler employed. Patients should expect some degree of discomfort during the injection and redness for up to 24-36 hours after the procedure. Application of ice to the injection sites can decrease these symptoms.

Dermal fillers costs

Costs for dermal fillers, including Restylane®, Perlane® and Juvederm®, vary depending on the clinic. It is usually charged per syringe or per area, and the price may vary per filler. In our office, the dermal filler cost is the same for all dermal fillers.
