Is botox for me, and where should i go for it?

Here at Skinsational Laser Center, in Providence, Rhode Island, we have been asked this question every week for several years! Most people are wondering about the real benefits, risks, and complications of Botox Cosmetic injections, as well as the cost of this amazing procedure.

When it comes to safety, in addition to doing your homework and interviewing in-person with the doctor that will inject you, be wary of “low-cost Botox”, or cheap treatments. These Botox vials may be over-diluted so the vials can be used in multiple patients, and you may run the risk of diffusion of this diluted solution to undesired areas of treatment.

At Skinsational Laser Center, Botox Cosmetic vials are diluted, aka reconstituted, with 1ml of saline solution. Not 2, not 2.5, and not 5 mls: one ml. Therefore, when you are receiving the treatment, there will be no diffusion of the Botox protein to unwanted or undesired areas, which is the reason for those terrible side-effects that we’ve seen or heard in the media, which have tarnished the aesthetic world.
